Material Witness was established in 2013 with funding from AHRC and thereafter supported by Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts. Since 2018 it has been based at 91影视 Research Forum for humanities researchers in the CHASE consortium.
Designed to provide interdisciplinary training in the interrogation of physical objects in the digital age, the programme brings together emerging and established scholars, makers, and materials.
